You'll find a variety of ministries to serve you and/or your family - from the comfort and security of our dynamic and exciting ministry for children, through to the main service for adults - you'll find a place where the whole family can experience God. We want you to know that wherever you are on your spiritual journey, whether you're just beginning to take a look at Christianity or you already have a mature relationship with Jesus, we're here to help you take the next step spiritually and to offer you a place where you can get involved as much as you can and grow in your walk with God.
Church is an inspirational place where you can meet with God. At Sheffield Community Church you'll experience corporate prayer and intercession, dynamic praise and worship, and relevant Bible teaching. Celebrating God's goodness and grace, receiving His blessings and sharing in the hope of salvation are all integral parts of our Sunday service experience. What’s available for new people?

We have people on the lookout for new people, to welcome you and help you feel more at home. Feel free to let the people at the door know you’re new and they’ll help you settle in and provide information about the church. We also have:

New Life In Christ course, for those who want to learn more about the Christian faith.

Family Unlimited Course for people that have been attending SCC for a while, completed New Life in Christ and have decided to become active members of Sheffield Community Church. The course is designed to help you get to know us better - our history, our values, who we are and where we are going. This Course has a complimentary Lunch provided! ZONE GROUPS

We meet in various homes on different days and times, for an exciting time of fellowship, Ministry and teaching of the Word of God.

What are Zone Groups?

Zone groups are a vital part of church life in SCC. We believe every member of SCC needs to be connected to a Zone Group so that they can be cared for, ministered to and find a place of accountability, discipleship and growth.It is through zone groups that we grow in the Christian faith by applying the word to our personal lives. It is through zone groups that we minister to others and receive ministry ourselves. It is through zone groups that new Christians are followed up, taught the Christian life and integrated into our leadership journey. Zone groups meet every month. If you are not yet involved in a zone group, contact us by email or phone us on 0114 2392490 and we will start the process of getting you into one.

We would like to see people get saved and commit their lives to the Lord, and cared for in discipleship groups so that they can grow and know Christ more. Our discipleship groups are the heartbeat of the church. This is where authentic fellowship with other believers takes place and one can connect with God and His people. Life groups meet once a week in different homes around the city. These groups meet in different days to cater for a wide spectrum of people and are designed to be relevant and life transforming. There is a lot of flexibility in their structure, and approach to ministry depending on the age, dynamics and the setting for each group.

FRESH KIDZ CHURCH

Every Sunday Kids from the ages of 18 months to 12 years have their own Sunday Church service running concurrently with the adults one.

PRAYER MINISTRY

As a church we gather for prayer every Fridays from 1830hrs to 1930hrs at the Sheffield Christian Centre in Norfolk Park Sheffield. We pray for UK, the nations, our city, our neighbourhood, our church and many other things. We believe that God answers prayer when his children call upon His name in humility and faith.

Every Sunday at 10:00am before the main service starts, we pray together committing the service to the Lord.

We also have seasons of prayer and fasting for an extended period at the beginning of each year and during the year.

MINISTRY SERVICE

The ‘Ministry Service’ is provided to create time and space for you to be prayed for if you need healing or a breakthrough of some kind in your life! It is our desire to see the church flourish in their walk with God and in the many gifts that are freely available to us. We encourage everyone to be baptized in the Spirit as the bible teaches and at this service we will stand with you that you may receive these gifts to live in the fullness of the life God has designed for you.

We have a great team of people who are committed to seeing you receive from God. This service is exciting, faith filled and full of life. Come expectant!

WE ARE A PART OF...

WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY

We consider ourselves a part of the Norfolk Park community and are working hard to show our love and care for this part of the beautiful city of Sheffield. We have been involved in this massive community summer event full of celebrations, fun and entertainment for the past two years. This event takes place at the Heritage Park and our FRESH KIDZ Dance have been ministering in the event through Music and Dance.

LOVE NORFOLK PARK...LOVE GOD

For the past three years SCC has been involved in a big-clean up of the NORFOLK Heritage Park located in the community where we meet for church services. We have worked in partnership with the Rangers in the Park in picking up litter and general tidying up of the whole park. This is a way of demonstrating God's visible love for the Norfolk Park community.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

SCC is directly involved in mission work in India where we support a missionary family doing church planting. We are privileged to be a part of what God is doing in India.

SCC is vitally connected to Faith Ministries Zimbabwe which does a lot of community outreach work through it's humanitarian organisation - EBENEZER. This organisation is involved in assisting AIDS orphans, informal sector employment training, feeding schemes for the less privileged and in education as well as provision of basic health care. SCC helps in mobilising funds from the International community towards the work of Faith Ministries Ebenezer.
